The Jewel of The Roxy.  This apartment is all character.  Meant to be a studio apartment, a full staircase and bedroom loft was added instead by removing some of the original ceiling joists.  Those are now filled in  and hold the wooden beam shelf in the bedroom with the original brick above it.  The plaster walls show building technique from days past when plaster was applied directly to the brick.  The loft railing features reclaimed wood beams from the building and metal security doors that protected the back of the building.
